1614 Speed and Agility is a program designed to improve an athlete's explosiveness and overall athletic ability through better body awareness and control.

Speed camp includes a combination of resistance training and the group training sessions. I lead the 1614 training team through the program to ensure that every athlete receives the attention needed to ensure their expectations are exceeded.

Resistance training
Every athlete is provided a detailed training log and is instructed how to correctly use the latest in fitness equipment. 1614 trainers are with the athletes constantly to ensure that proper technique is used throughout every workout.

Group Training
All athletes are tested at the start and at the competition of the camp. Last summer the average improvement in the Box Run drill was 53%.

The art of running is broken into specific areas with a concentration on correct technique and form. Each session starts with a dynamic stretching program, followed by two entertaining workouts that will certainly challenge any athlete.

Athletes will use a variety of tools such as medicine balls, BOSU trainers as well as full complement of bands, cords and boxes.

Although aggressive athletes of every talent level are able to thrive as the exercises are self paced and can be used effectively by athletes of any level. The safety and well being remains the top priority of the entire 1614 training team.
